Updated 12/20/2014 Welcome to the website of the National Association of USS LCS(L) 1-130. We are a World War II veterans organization dedicated to preserving the history of our ships, the Landing Craft Support (Large) gunboats. The "Mighty Midgets," as the ships were known, were packed with firepower and made important contributions in the battles for the Philippines, Iwo Jima, Okinawa, and Borneo. This site is designed for the benefit of veterans and their families, World War II history enthusiasts, and academic researchers. Take a tour of our site and enjoy yourself.
